EDUCATION:
*HIGH SCHOOL – Graduated from Kiel High School in 1996.
*COLLEGE – Graduated from Lakeland College in 2001 with a B.S. Degree in Education grades 1 – 9 with a minor in History.

WORK EXPERIENCE:  I taught for a year at St. Peter and Paul in Kiel before coming to CACS.  I have been at Chilton Area Catholic School since 2002.  During my first 5 years at CACS, I taught first grade before moving up to fifth grade.  My stay in fifth grade was short.  The following year, I moved to sixth grade.  Even though my homeroom changed, I taught the same subjects, fifth and sixth grade English/Language Arts, Science and Religion. With the addition of middle school, I again found myself on the move.  I am currently the 7/8 Homeroom teacher.  I teach 7/8 ELA , 6th grade ELA, 6th grade Writer’s Workshop, and 6th-8th STREAM.

CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS:  I am the Yearbook Advisor. This club works on organizing and publishing the school's annual yearbook in the spring of the year.
Mr. V. and I work together on the Future City Competition. Through this project, the middle school students compete in a STREAM activity at MSOE.

HOBBIES: In my free time, I enjoying running my summer business. There is never a dull moment in that part of my life.
Travel has always been a passion of mine. I have spent time in almost all fifty of the states. Many of those travels have been with my extended family on summer road trips. Life doesn't get any better than traveling around in a 15 passenger van with the ones I love. I also enjoy rollerblading and playing softball.

PERSONAL / PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT: There is no better feeling in the world knowing that I get to come to a school I love and teach the students that are entrusted to me.

FAVORITE CACS MEMORY: One of my favorite CACS memories is taking the Class of 2018 and 2019 to Washington DC. It was a new and exciting experience for the students and faculty that went on the trip. The whole experience from fundraising to meal planning to scheduling was a learning/life lesson for all involved.
