PERSONAL / PROFESSIONAL STATEMENT: I love teaching 2nd grade at CACS because not only do I have the opportunity to watch my students reach their goals academically, but I also get to be a part of their faith education during sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.  One of my goals as an educator is to instill a life-long passion for learning in each of my students. I recognize the differences between students’ hobbies, interests, and learning styles so that some of their passions can be brought into our everyday lessons with the hopes of creating a spark for learning.  I work hard to provide an environment in my classroom where students feel excited to learn new things, try hard concepts, make mistakes, and learn from them.

INTERESTING FACT: I was a varsity rower!
