Mrs. Vicki Bergeron – 3K

WORK EXPERIENCE:  She began her teaching career at the Children’s Discovery Center in Milwaukee and then taught Kindergarten for 2 years at Holy Assumption School in West Allis, Wisconsin. She continued teaching Preschool, Kindergarten, second and third grade at St. Matthew School in Glendale Height, Illinois for the next 31 years.   She began teaching at CACS in 2017.

PERSONAL / PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT:  She loves the Catholic school environment where she tries to follow the example of Jesus when he says “Let the little Children come to me”.


Mrs. Amanda Zipperer – 4K / K – 8 PhyEd

*COLLEGE – Associates degree of Arts and Science – UW Manitowoc; Associates degree of Early Childhood – NWTC; Bachelor’s degree of Early Childhood – Silver Lake College, Manitowoc; currently in the process of adding Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education.

WORK EXPERIENCE:  I have taught at CACS since 2014. I had the opportunity to be the 3K teacher from 2014-2017 and the 4K teacher from 2017-present. In 2016, I also started my position as the K-8 Physical Education and Health teacher..

CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS:  Yearbook Co-advisor, Reading Program Co-advisor, and CACS My School Color Run Co-organizer.

PERSONAL / PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT:  My philosophy of education involves using developmentally appropriate practices as well as using differentiated instruction throughout the classroom. I believe in hands-on experiences and students learning through play and practice. In my free time, I enjoy camping and watching Packer games with my family.


Ms. Jennifer Mastey – 5K

WORK EXPERIENCE: 6 years at Kaukauna Catholic School System which included grades 6 and 8.  I year of subbing in various school districts.  10 years teaching at CACS where I taught 3K, 4th Grade, and now Kindergarten.

CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS:  CACS Shelvers Advisor, Curriculum Coordinator, and Discipline with Purpose Coordinator.


Mrs. Elizabeth Kopecky – Grade 1

WORK EXPERIENCE:  This is the fifth year teaching at CACS.  Before that was an aide for many years in the Early Childhood Program here at CACS.

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS:  Plays flute in the Chilton City Band.  At school she is a Forensics advisor.


Mrs. Sara Lawman – Grade 2

*HIGH SCHOOL:  Westerville North High School in Westerville, Ohio – 2004  
*COLLEGE:  Ohio Dominican University – graduated magna cum laud with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education in 2008.

WORK EXPERIENCE:  I taught 2nd grade in public education for 3 years;  I taught 2nd grade in public education for 3 years while working on my Masters degree at The Ohio State University before moving to Southern California with my family.  This is my first year teaching 2nd grade at CACS.

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS:  Co-chair for the “A Toast to Our Future” event and a member on the yearbook committee.


Mrs. Lisa Fesing – Grade 3

*HIGH SCHOOL :  Chilton High School
*COLLEGE:  UW-Oshkosh: Elementary Ed 1-8; English PreK-9

WORK EXPERIENCE:  I worked at a variety of jobs while in high school and completing college.  After graduation I took 2 years to work as a tutor for students unable to attend school due to medical issues in the Chilton school district as well as substitute teaching.  In 1986 I was hired at CACS and have been happily working here since.

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS:  At school I help with the Art Club and am an advisor for the Destination Imagination Team.  Outside of school I have been a club leader for the Irish Road 4-H club for over 35 years (yep, I’m old).  I became a club leader after being a member for 9 years.  I also am a member of an American Cancer Society Relay for Life team, Clarence’s Heavenly Hogs, which is a family team that was formed after my Dad’s battle with cancer.  The team raises money for cancer research and awareness.


Mrs. Carrie Stammer – Grade 4


*HIGH SCHOOL – I was the salutatorian of my graduating class at Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay.
*COLLEGE – I earned an Honors Bachelor of Arts in English literature while completing the
elementary teaching program at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.

WORK EXPERIENCE: I taught fourth grade for three years at St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in Peshtigo,
WI.  For ten summers, I worked as a history day-camp teacher at Heritage Hill State Historical Park in Green Bay, WI.  This is my third year at CACS teaching 4th grade.

CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS:  I’m the reading program coordinator at CACS this year, and I am leading our
book club with Mrs. Meyers as well.


Mrs. Carrie Aimers – Grade 5

*COLLEGE – Bachelor of Science Elementary Education – UW Green Bay;  Masters of Theology – St. Norbert College

WORK EXPERIENCE:  Retreat Leader at Mount Tabor Retreat Center for 3 years; Religious Education Coordinator at St. Agnes for 5 years; Lead teacher at Neenah-Menasha YMCA for 4 years;  5th Grade Homeroom teacher at CACS – new this year.


PERSONAL / PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT:  I believe in the power of education and am firmly founded in our Catholic faith.  I feel it is important that students feel respected and supported in their educational journey as they continue to grow and learn.  In my spare time I enjoy playing with my 4 children, reading, running, and singing.


Mr. William VanRossum – Grade 6

WORK EXPERIENCE: I am the new 6th grade math, science, and homeroom teacher as well as the 7th & 8th grade math teacher.   This is my first year as an official teacher, and I am really excited.  Before coming to Chilton Area Catholic School, I was a substitute teacher for three years within the Wrightstown, Kaukauna, Kimberly, and Oshkosh area school districts.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Worked 10 years in in Peru, the school General Prado Femenine school.  She loved to teach History and Geography.  Currently fourth year as Spanish teacher at CACS.

Sister Elizabeth Benvie – General Music Teacher

WORK EXPERIENCE:  Sister Elizabeth’s educational career includes teaching elementary school from 1978-1990 in Ohio and New York, teaching General Music (PreK-8) and guitar lessons in Arizona, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin since 1991.  Sister Elizabeth is presently teaching music in Grades PreK-8 in the Consortium Catholic Schools located in Chilton, Clarks Mills and Kiel, Wisconsin.

CLUBS / ORGANIZATIONS:  She has served in the places she has been involved in as Director of Music and Liturgy, church musician, liturgist, cantor, choir director, Music for Tots teacher, and Director of Hand Bells and Hand Chimes Choir.

PERSONAL / PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT:  Sister Elizabeth is passionate about teaching music and believes music is an effective discipline to bring beauty and grace into our world. She enjoys singing and plays a variety of instruments, including trumpet and guitar. Sister Elizabeth performed with the Silver Lake College of the Holy Family Band, Choir and Hand Bell Choir in 2014-2015.

WORK EXPERIENCE:I taught in public education for ten years.  My work experience in public education included teaching Family and Consumer Education, coordinating the Gifted and Talented Middle School  program and teaching exploratory classes for the gifted.
I also served as the AODA (Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse)
Program Coordinator, eighth grade class advisor, yearbook advisor and Family, Community and Career Leaders of America (FCCLA) advisor.  After teaching in public education I spent five years consulting and providing counseling services for at risk middle and high school students for school districts across the state.  This is my fourteenth year at Chilton Area Catholic School where I was originally hired as the School Counselor and became the Principal in April of 2006.

PERSONAL STATEMENT:  Enthusiasm is the word that comes to mind with my employment at CACS.  I love the fact knowing that every day is different. Not only is this a rich historical education system, but belonging here is like a family.  My husband and I have 4 children, 2 special daughter-in-laws, and 5 beautiful grandbabies.
