The 4th grade class went on a farm field trip last month to learn all about the agriculture industry in Wisconsin. The event was held by Woldt Farms in Brillion and was sponsored by the Calumet County Farm Bureau. Students rotated through different stations to learn about calves, cow care/nutrition, the milking parlor, crops, and farm machinery. It was a wonderful morning full of hands-on, educational activities. Thank you to all the sponsors that made this great event possible!

This week, let's visit the 4th graders and learn about their year!
The 4th graders at CACS have been participating in a special ABC Countdown to Summer for these last few weeks of school. The activities for each day relate to academics in fun ways. Students built voyageur boats to hold "furs" (pennies) for Buoyant Boat Day, they wrote Bible verses on the blacktop outside for Chalk Day, and they got to wear their favorite hats in class for Hat Day.

Countdown Dog is officially up! You know what that means...the end of the school year is near!

CACS 24-25 Enrollment is open.
For the first time in a long time, we have grades that are almost at capacity - enroll now to secure your spot!

Edited to add: There was an error in the bulletin about the time of tonight's performance. It is at 6:00, NOT 6:30. If you know someone who is coming tonight, please make sure they know it will start at 6:00.
The CACS Passion Play is today! Performances at 10:30 and 6:00 in the church. You don't want to miss this emotional performance put on by our 4th-8th graders.
Can't be here in person? Live stream the show at either time here:

Last night, Mrs. Sara Lawman received her Excellence in Education Shining Star Award from the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce. The banquet was held at Butte des Morts Country Club in Appleton. Mrs. Lawman was one of ten educators chosen from a record-breaking 118 nominated educators representing Calumet, Outagamie, and Winnebago Counties. Four other CACS teachers were nominated as well and Sara was the only recipient representing a private school. We're so proud to have Mrs. Lawman as a part of our CACS family!
You can check out her interview video used at the banquet here: https://youtu.be/286_DfbXIvc?si=OR3iUJCK4QAn5zuf

It's March Madness! For their March meeting, the Board Games Club at CACS had a Connect Four tournament. Students played other games of their choice between matchups (Pictionary, Battleship, Monopoly, and checkers were some favorites). The competition was steep, but a winner finally emerged. Congratulations to Jake, who took first place in the tournament!

Save the Date!
CACS 4th-8th graders will once again perform the Passion of Jesus Christ on March 27 at 10:30 am and 6:00 pm at Good Shepherd. It is truly a beautiful, emotional portrayal of the suffering Jesus endured to save us from our sins. It's a wonderful addition to your Holy Week reflections.
We hope to see you there. Let's fill up the church in support of our kids as they take on this heavy story.

It's hard to believe these pictures were taken yesterday! Record highs to below zero in 24 hours. Good ol' Wisconsin weather. But enjoy these pictures of the 4th and 5th graders taking advantage of the beautiful weather!
