Today on the feast of Our Lady of Champion, we held an all-school Living Rosary. As the prayers were spoken, students turned on candles to show the Holy Spirit at work through Our Lady. It was a beautiful, powerful time of prayer for everyone. What a great way to start a day!

Tomorrow, October 9, is the feast of Our Lady of Champion. Did you know that this is the first and only approved Marian apparition in the United States...and it's right here in the Diocese of Green Bay? One way to celebrate this very special feast day is to pray the rosary to Our Lady. Join CACS staff and students tomorrow at 9:30 in the church for an all school living rosary. Bring your rosary, sit on the outside of the living rosary, and pray along as we honor Our Lady of Champion with this beautiful gift.

The middle school students enjoyed their afternoon at the Chilton Public Library. The librarians gave them a tour, showed them special features the library has, educated them on special programs that are offered, and gave them an opportunity to check out books. They even completed a fun library scavenger hunt. Thank you, Chilton Public Library!

Work has officially begun on our expansion project! The rain hasn't made it easy and caused some delays in starting, but we had enough relief from rain the last few days that things are happening. The garage is gone to a good home, the building footprint is staked out, and the blacktop on the north playground is gone. Stay tuned for more updates and work continues!

CACS is hiring! We currently have two openings for the 24-25 school year.
6th-8th Math and Science Teacher: This is a full time position, starting with the 2024-2025 school year, with opportunities to work with students in clubs and other activities. There is also the opportunity to join the 7th/8th grade classes every other year on their trip to Washington D.C.
4th-8th Grade Band Director: We need someone to work with our students in 4th-8th grade signed up for Band. A majority of our 4th-8th graders participate in Band so our program is strong, but now we need someone to lead it into the future! This is a part time position, but job sharing with another nearby school is a possibility to increase the FTE. A teaching certificate is not required for this position, but a Bachelor's degree and a knowledge of various instruments is desired.
Apply on WECAN. Look for Vacancy ID 207449 for the Math/Science position and Vacancy ID 204853 for the Band position.

The 4th grade class went on a farm field trip last month to learn all about the agriculture industry in Wisconsin. The event was held by Woldt Farms in Brillion and was sponsored by the Calumet County Farm Bureau. Students rotated through different stations to learn about calves, cow care/nutrition, the milking parlor, crops, and farm machinery. It was a wonderful morning full of hands-on, educational activities. Thank you to all the sponsors that made this great event possible!
